After the funeral, when the cards and flowers have stopped coming, most of the people around you return to their normal lives. But your grief continues and you feel alone.

Often friends and family want to help you, but don't know how. That's the reason for GriefShare. GriefShare is led by caring people who have experienced grief and have successfully rebuilt their lives. They understand how you feel because they've been in the same place. They will walk with you on the long path through grief toward healing and hope for the future.

FriefShare is a network of 12,000 churches worldwide equipped to offer grief support groups. The program is nondenominational and features biblical concepts for healing from your grief. Learn more about GriefShare at www.griefshare.org.

GriefShare is a support group that meets weekly. You'll find it to be a warm, caring environment and will come to see your group as an "oasis" on your long journey through grief.

You are welcome to begin attending our GriefShare group at any point. Each session is "self-contained", so you do not have to attend in sequence.

This winter has been rather unusual and it is our belief that we are all in need of a little glimpse of spring. So we are going to be brave and venture again on the church bus to go to Chicago Botanical Gardens to see the orchid show as well as the other gardens. We can take 13 others besides the two of us (Pastor Dee and Janice Harris). The cost is $12.50 and we are planning on going on Friday, March 8, leaving by 8:30 a.m. and will spend about two hours at the show. We will stop on the way home for food and fellowship. We hope that you will join the fun and fellowship with us. Please sign up in Fellowship Hall at the Event Desk by Sunday, March 3. We need to fill the bus in order to take this trip because of the distance.
